The 1896 is a production-ready, fully built-out series of Industrial Warehouses and Shooting Locations located in Brooklyn, NY and purpose-adapted for film, television, photography, and large-scale brand activations.

Unlike a raw warehouse shell, The 1896 campus is aesthetically crafted & structurally finished allowing productions and events to move, scale, and capture seamlessly.

We offer five primary Shooting Spaces: Area 2, Area 3, Area 4, The Courtyard/Drive & The Loft Apartment.

We also have several Additional Shooting Locations By The Hour. These additional spaces include: Roof; Stairwells; Freight Elevator; Artist Studios; Hallways; Exteriors; HMU/ Exec HMU Dressing Rooms; Backdrop Studio; and our Flex Space serving as break-out rooms, holding for video village or expanded private dressing rooms.
